The ultimate ski capital worldwide is situated in the heart of the United States, specifically in Colorado, and Aspen proudly claims this coveted title.

The distinction comes from Aspen’s possession of four major ski resorts: Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Highlands, and Snowmass. What sets Aspen apart is the individualized terrain offered by each resort, catering to a wide range of individuals with varying skiing preferences and skill levels.

There are some fantastic ski places worldwide that come close to Aspen’s charm, like Chamonix in France, Zermatt in Switzerland, St. Anton in Austria, and Whistler in Canada.
