Best Hotels Near Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

Keep reading as I highlight the best places to stay in Jackson Hole for skiing. This selection features top accommodations close to the slopes at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, offering excellent amenities, high ratings, and other outstanding features that make them the best choices in the area.

1. Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa

The Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa is my top recommendation for skiing accommodations in Jackson Hole. I stayed here on my honeymoon and was captivated by its location, amenities, and the small details that elevate the experience.

True to its name, the hotel offers a chic mountain lodge ambiance. The exterior is stunning, but the true charm reveals itself as you enter, greeted by wooden beams, a stone fireplace, and inviting balconies.

The rooms and suites are beautifully designed, many featuring fireplaces, spectacular views, and luxurious decor. While the atmosphere and aesthetics are impressive, the amenities truly set this hotel apart.

The world-class spa, well-equipped fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and five hot tubs, including my favorite, the rooftop hot tub, are standout features. The rooftop hot tub offers fantastic views of the ski slopes, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day on the mountain.

The cherry on top is the hotel’s prime location, which allows you to step out the door and hit the slopes within a few feet, making it incredibly convenient for skiers and snowboarders.

The Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa is my top choice because it perfectly captures the lodge experience, steps away from the ski slopes. I love that it’s large enough to feel like a cozy lodge but not so big that it feels like a resort. With its incredible staff, mountain lodge ambiance, upscale amenities, and prime location, I’d recommend staying here any day!

2. Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole

The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole is a close second on my list, nearly tying for the top spot. I love the Four Seasons for many reasons.

While the exterior might blend in with other hotels in the area, the moment you step inside, it’s anything but ordinary. It stands out from the crowd with friendly staff, a romantic ambiance, and an authentic resort atmosphere.

The real magic, however, happens in your room. They offer various options, including rooms, suites, and private residences, each with different views. Some come with private balconies, gas fireplaces, and more. Every room features wooden beams, luxurious decor, and a chic mountain vibe.

As for amenities, the resort boasts an outdoor pool, a ski concierge service, a fitness center, and an exceptional spa. While all of these are outstanding, I love the proximity to the slopes, which are just a few feet away, making it incredibly convenient for skiing in Jackson Hole.

Finally, my favorite part of the Four Seasons is the dining. There is the new speakeasy for cocktails, the Ascent Lounge with Asian-inspired cuisine, and my personal favorite, the Westbank Grill, known for its bison, wagyu, and more. My husband and I dined here, and I fell in love with their s’mores dessert. We sat outside, enjoying the mountain views, the perfect end to a long day of adventures.

Honestly, there’s nothing I can fault the Four Seasons for compared to the Teton Mountain Lodge, except that it’s a bit pricier and has a larger, more resort-like atmosphere, as the name implies.

This can be a great thing if you’re looking for that vibe. It truly offers the complete package with its housing, dining, amenities, and prime location. If you’re willing to spend a bit more on your vacation, this is the perfect choice; you won’t regret it.

3. Hotel Terra Jackson Hole

Next on the list is the stunning Hotel Terra Jackson Hole. What I love most about Hotel Terra is its modern boutique style, setting it apart from other accommodations in the area as it’s a bit more intimate.

The exterior resembles upscale slopeside condominiums with a unique hotel twist, while the interior exudes charm with wood and stone components that reflect the mountainous surroundings. I appreciate that guests can choose from various rooms and suites, offering different views, gas fireplaces, kitchens, and more.

Another reason I love this hotel is its excellent amenities, including the rooftop hot tub, infinity pool, and convenient on-site ski rental and ski valet.

What sets this hotel apart is the convenience of ski-in/ski-out access, though. Instead of walking a few feet to the slopes, you can strap on your skis or snowboard and go, making Hotel Terra incredibly convenient for skiers and snowboarders.

Hotel Terra in Jackson Hole shares many similarities with the Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa; the same brand even operates them! However, it’s my third choice on this list because it doesn’t quite match the feel or amenities of the others.

That said, it’s still an excellent option. What truly sets Hotel Terra apart is its ski-in/ski-out access, and if you’re seeking a more “traditional” hotel experience, this is the place for you.

Best Hotels Near Snow King Resort

Keep reading as I highlight the best places to stay in Jackson Hole for skiing at Snow King Resort. These options are also perfect for those who want to ski and snowboard at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort but prefer to stay in downtown Jackson Hole.

This selection includes top accommodations near the town square and within a short distance of the slopes. These hotels feature top-notch amenities, excellent ratings, and other special features that make them the best in the area.

4. Hotel Jackson

Hotel Jackson is my top choice for accommodations near Jackson Town Square. It’s in an excellent location, surrounded by great coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, and shops. It’s less than a mile from Snow King Mountain, making it a quick walk, drive, or shuttle ride away.

Beyond its prime location, I’m particularly impressed by Hotel Jackson’s overall vibe. The modern exterior is beautiful and picturesque, while the interior is equally, if not more, stunning. It perfectly balances mountain charm and contemporary design, featuring exposed stone, warm neutral tones, exposed wood, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Rooms are available in a variety of options and sizes, from standard rooms to spacious suites. Each offers unique features, including gas fireplaces, decks, and mountain views.

Hotel Jackson is one of my favorite hotels in Jackson Hole for its aesthetic and location and its fantastic amenities. Highlights include the cozy library, FIGS Restaurant & Bar, a rooftop hot tub, a great fitness center, and more.

While a few hotels are closer to Snow King Mountain Resort, they don’t match Hotel Jackson’s high ratings, ambiance, or prime location. This is my top pick for staying near Snow King Mountain, and it’s still conveniently less than a mile from the resort.

5. The Wort Hotel

Just across the street from Hotel Jackson is my runner-up choice for hotels near Snow King Mountain Resort: The Wort Hotel. With its rich history dating back to 1941, this boutique hotel has beautifully blended its historic charm with modern amenities.

The hotel’s exterior features a classic, old-fashioned design with unique architecture and a combination of stone and wood beams reminiscent of German hotels. Inside, you’ll find wood paneling, an impressive staircase, and elegant red carpeting, creating a blend of mountainous, historic, and modern elements.

The rooms offer a range of options, from traditional rooms to larger suites, each with distinct themes and decor. They feature an upscale cabin-like ambiance and pay tribute to Jackson’s Western vibe with their artwork, bedding, and furniture.

What sets The Wort Hotel apart is its standout amenities, particularly The Silver Dollar Grill, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the renowned Silver Dollar Bar, which is also open for lunch and dinner.

The Wort Hotel is an excellent choice for those seeking a more classic, historic experience. It’s conveniently located less than a mile from Snow King Mountain Resort and near Jackson Town Square, making it an excellent option for your stay in the area.
